Once you've removed your Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) hardware and DPF system, those connectors sit open under your hood and beneath the truck, and open connectors corrode.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAfter a delete, the wiring that ran your EGR valve, DPF pressure sensors, and related components is still there, just no longer connected to anything. Rain, steam, mud, and road salt will find it. Corroded connectors throw intermittent fault codes that are miserable to chase down, and the corrosion can spread to adjacent wiring.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis kit provides the harness caps to keep water and debris out of the vehicle harness under the hood and under the body of the truck.
