The S&B Cold Air Intake for the 2001–2007 GM 6.6L Duramax covers the LB7, LLY, and LBZ generations and delivers a 43.69% airflow increase over your factory setup. These early Duramax engines are workhorses, but they've always been restricted at the air intake, and this S&B kit fixes that with a sealed, high-flow system.

The factory airbox on these trucks was built more for emissions packaging than airflow. The S&B system pulls cooler, cleaner air to your turbo at 43.69% greater volume, inside a fully enclosed airbox that blocks engine heat from soaking the intake air. High-quality filter media keeps dirt, dust, and other contaminants out while still flowing maximum air, and you get a choice of oiled or dry filter along with multiple airflow configurations.

It's a bolt-on install that retains the stock MAF sensor location, which is the key part: because the MAF stays where the factory put it, your ECM never detects a change, so there are no check engine lights and no tune required. Faster turbo spool means improved throttle response, especially noticeable when you load up to tow, and the better filtration helps protect the engine at the same time.

It fits 2001 through 2007 Silverado and Sierra trucks with the 6.6L Duramax across the LB7, LLY, and LBZ engine codes, covering all pickup trims, cab styles, and box lengths. It does not fit Cab & Chassis trucks.
