Diesel Tuning Software — EZ Lynk, H&S Mini Maxx & Custom Tunes for All Diesel Trucks

Diesel tuning software is what takes a deleted truck from running-but-code-throwing to actually performing the way it should. Whether you just removed your DPF and EGR or you're looking to add power levels on top of a clean baseline, the software is what makes it all work. This collection covers tuning software platforms across all major diesel brands — Ford Powerstroke, Ram Cummins, and GM/Chevy Duramax.

Software vs. Hardware: What's the Difference?

You'll see two categories when shopping for diesel tuning: hardware tuners (the physical device that plugs into your OBD-II port) and tuning software (the tune files and delivery platform that actually reprogram your ECM). Some products combine both. This collection focuses on the software side — the tune delivery systems, cloud-based platforms, and custom calibration files that are the brains behind any performance or delete tune.

A diesel tuning software platform works by remapping ECM (Engine Control Module) parameters — fueling maps, injection timing, boost targets, EGR commands, DPF regen cycles, and fault code suppression. Without software, your hardware is just a pipe and a block-off plate. With the right tune, your truck responds the way it was meant to.

EZ Lynk AutoAgent: Cloud-Based Tune Delivery

The EZ Lynk AutoAgent is a cloud-connected OBD-II interface that lets a certified tuner push your tune file remotely via the EZ Lynk app. You plug the device into your OBD-II port, open the app on your phone, and your tuner delivers the calibration over the air. No laptop, no cable, no trip to the shop.

EZ Lynk supports multiple tune files on a single device — you can switch between a delete tune, a performance tune, and a fuel economy tune from the app. It also gives you live data: boost, exhaust gas temperature (EGT), coolant temp, RPM, and more, all displayed in real time.

Supported platforms: 6.7L Cummins (2013+), 6.7L Powerstroke (2011+), Duramax (select years), and Cummins 5.0L V8 for Nissan Titan XD (2016-2019).

H&S Mini Maxx: Preloaded Delete Tunes

The H&S Mini Maxx takes a different approach — the delete tunes come preloaded on the device, so you're not waiting on a remote tuner. Plug it in, select your tune level, and you're done. It also functions as a standalone gauge display, showing up to four live metrics at once: boost pressure, EGT, coolant temperature, and more.

The Mini Maxx includes multiple power levels so you can dial in how aggressive you want to run. Models with shift-on-the-fly capability let you change tune levels while driving without reprogramming.

Supported platforms: 6.7L Powerstroke (2008-2019), 6.7L Cummins, 6.6L Duramax LMM/LML (2007-2016).

Custom Tunes

For trucks with significant modifications — bigger injectors, upgraded turbos, performance camshafts — a preloaded tune won't cut it. Custom tunes are written specifically for your truck's exact build and delivered through a compatible platform like EZ Lynk or EFI Live. If you're building a high-output diesel, ask us about custom calibration options.

Which Platform Is Right for Your Truck?

  • Want remote tuner support and multiple tune files? EZ Lynk AutoAgent is your tool.
  • Want preloaded tunes with no cloud dependency? H&S Mini Maxx is the answer.
  • Running a heavily modified truck? Custom tune via EZ Lynk or EFI Live — reach out and we'll point you to the right calibrator.
  • Ford 6.7 Powerstroke? Both EZ Lynk and Mini Maxx cover the 2011-2019 platform.
  • Ram 6.7 Cummins? EZ Lynk is the primary platform; EFI Live is the go-to for competition builds.
  • Duramax? EZ Lynk covers most late-model Duramax. LML-specific tuning is more complex — ask before ordering.

Off-Road and Competition Use

All tuning software in this collection, including delete tunes, is intended for off-road and competition use only. Not for use on vehicles driven on public roads.

The Bottom Line

Hardware gets your truck deleted. Software makes it run right. Whether you're running an EZ Lynk with remote tune support or loading up a Mini Maxx with preloaded delete tunes, this collection has the platform your truck needs — across Ford, Ram, Chevy, and Nissan platforms. Browse by your engine, check compatibility, and if you're not sure which way to go, shoot us a message. We've been through this with enough trucks to know what works.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need tuning software even if I'm not doing an emissions delete?

A delete always requires a tune — that's non-negotiable. But even on a stock truck, a performance tune can unlock real gains. Power levels, fueling maps, boost targets — all of these have headroom from the factory that a tune can tap into. You don't have to be deleting to get value out of tuning software.

What's the difference between EZ Lynk and the H&S Mini Maxx?

The main difference is how the tune gets onto your truck. EZ Lynk is cloud-based — a certified remote tuner writes your calibration and pushes it to the device over the air. The Mini Maxx comes with delete tunes preloaded, so there's no waiting on a tuner and no cloud dependency. EZ Lynk is more flexible and tuner-customizable. Mini Maxx is faster to install and simpler to operate. Both work well — the right choice depends on how hands-off you want the process to be.

Can I run multiple tune files on one device?

Yes, on EZ Lynk. You can store a delete tune, a performance tune, and a fuel economy tune on one AutoAgent and switch between them from the app. The Mini Maxx also supports multiple power levels on a single device, though they're preloaded rather than custom-calibrated. Either way, you're not locked into one tune forever.

What's a custom tune and when do I actually need one?

A custom tune is written specifically for your truck's exact build — injector size, turbo specs, fueling mods, the whole picture. Preloaded tunes are built around a stock or lightly modified platform. Once you start stacking serious hardware upgrades (bigger injectors, upgraded turbo, compound setup), a preloaded tune won't be dialed in correctly for your setup. That's when you need a calibrator to write something from scratch for your specific truck.

Will a tune void my warranty?

In most cases, yes — flashing the ECM with aftermarket software voids the powertrain warranty on the affected components. That's true across Ford, Ram, and GM platforms. If your truck is still under factory warranty and that matters to you, it's worth thinking through before you pull the trigger. Most guys building these trucks for performance or delete purposes are past the warranty window anyway.

Does the EZ Lynk work on the Nissan Titan XD with the Cummins 5.0L?

Yes. The EZ Lynk AutoAgent supports the Cummins 5.0L V8 in the 2016-2019 Titan XD. It's one of the few tuning platforms that actually covers that engine, which is part of why we carry it for Titan XD customers. Same OBD-II connection, same app-based tune delivery — works the same way it does on the larger Cummins platforms.
