TRANSMISSION TUNING

Transmission tuning is including for 68RFE. Tune is compatible with AISIN transmission but there is not transmission tune applied to the AISIN.

Transmission tune raises line pressure to accomodate the higher torque.

TUNE HORSE POWER SETTINGS

The Custom Tunes Includes multiple power levels so you can run your truck the way you want to.

BDX Power Settings:
Level 1- +30HP. Ideal for daily driving, towing.

Level 2- +60HP. Ideal for daily driving, light towing.

Level 3- +90HP. Ideal for daily driving.

Level 4- +120HP. Ideal for performance applications.

Level 5- +150HP. Ideal for performance applications.

important note on the BDX - you are required to install the Switch On The Fly switch to access these power levels. If no switch is installed, you will be defaulted to "LEVEL 1"

*** Shift on the Fly feature only available on the Pick Up 2011-2019 Models. It will not work on Cab & Chassis.

The tune we create for the BDX is a custom delete tune. The tunes take 3-5 business days to get created and uploaded to the device.

We will ship it to you with the custom tune already preloaded onto the device. Just plug it into your vehicle to upload the tune.

Sometimes, your device may show an error code. Or may not recognize your truck.

All you have to do is update the device by connecting it to your computer.

This is a simple process and we will email you instructions on troubleshooting this problem in case it happens.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Do I have to delete ALL emissions parts?

You must delete the DPF at the minimum. EGR deletes are recommended, unplug the wiring harness if you don't delete it. With this tune you can unplug all other exhaust related sensors. 

Q: Does the BDX need to remain plugged in?

Once the delete tune is installed, you can unplug the tuner. You will need to plug it in to switch the power level.

Q: Can this tune multiple trucks?

No. This tune is built to order to your specific truck and is locked to the VIN once installed. 

Q: Will this save my stock tune just in case?

Yes. You can revert your truck back to factory settings anytime

BDX Return Policy

The BullyDog BDX Delete Tuner for Ford 6.7L Powerstroke is our best-selling DPF/EGR/DEF delete tuner, and once the delete tune is installed your truck no longer throws emission-related codes or warnings. That covers "See Dealer" codes, check engine codes, "Exhaust system service required" codes, limp mode codes, and other emissions-related diagnostics.

This tune works only with trucks running an OEM or S&B air intake; other intakes won't be compatible. Shift on the Fly is for 2011–2019 pickups and won't work on Cab & Chassis. You do NOT need to send your VIN; the BDX ships preloaded, so you just plug it in to upload. Orders process within 2 business days. The BDX is built to order and can't be returned, but a faulty unit is exchanged.

A delete tuner is a device that reprograms your truck’s ECM (computer) to turn off emissions systems like the DPF, EGR, and DEF, allowing your truck to run without those components.
You MUST remove your DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), as the filter will clog and stop all exhaust flow when shut off. 

You will no longer need DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid), and you may remove your DEF tank if you wish, or it can sit empty. The EGR may remain as is, but we recommend removing the physical parts as well.

No. Delete tuners disable emissions systems, so your truck will not pass emissions tests in areas where they're required. Some states have exemptions (e.g. heavy-duty or rural-use trucks).
Yes. However, in most cases you will have to have the ECM flashed at the dealership. If this is a concern, contact our team and we can explain further.
Yes. All delete tunes are VIN specific and will only work on one truck. The tuner (hardware device), may be used on multiple vehicles for diagnostic or monitoring purposes where applicable.
