Just deleted my Colorado ZR2 and I am absolutely happy with the results. Diesel Dudes from day one were on point with their customer service. Just be aware to check you junk folder because for me some of their emails went to the junk folder and I didn't get them till later and missed some key communications. Once the kit was sent I have to say the "how to" videos by Dark Iron Diesel was a life saver. I would have been lost with out them. Just follow the steps one by one and you can't go wrong. One thing I learned was that the actual delete file has to be the direct download to work. If you put it on a flash drive and move it to another computer it won't work (that was the case for me anyway). When it comes to deleting the exhaust, it's a lot harder than the "how to" video makes it out to be. For the Colorado, I had a **** of a time getting to the bottom left bolt of the down pipe. I tried everything and finally decided it had to be hacked off. I Had only medium grade metal blades for the sawzall which failed miserably at cutting the thick top neck of the downpipe. So the next day I got myself a hard metal cutting blade and finally hacked off the down pipe at the top. I started cutting at the bottom of the neck where the pipe turned down and cut up at a left 45 angle. I wish this method was in the video because it took a minute and would have saved me hours and bloody knuckles trying to get to that stupid bottom left bolt! LOL. Now to the best part... the results! The truck runs perfectly with no issues. I absolutely love the sound of the engine and exhaust! My truck can finally breathe! Love the powerful low rumble but was in for a surprise once I engaged the turbo, it's loud so be prepared. Don't get me wrong, it's awesome, but you will be blasting whoever you are engaging the turbo to pass on those quiet two lane country roads. LOL! The boost in power is like letting the lion off the leash. The improvement in mpg is noticeable, and the peace of mind that my diesel is going to last through the ages like a diesel should is golden. It's shocking to realize how much the FDA exhaust system was choking the engine. When I drive I I haven't wanted to turn on the radio yet because I love listening to the engine. It's like getting a new truck, I cant wait to drive. So to wrap this up, you may be able to find someone cheaper, but with Diesel Dudes you get what you pay for, a team on your side that are excited to help from day one to completion!!!
